It varies by make, year, and key type. A basic transponder key for an older Honda or Toyota is usually well under $200. A push-to-start smart key for a late-model BMW, Audi, or Range Rover runs more. Either way, we quote the full price on the phone before we drive out — never a surprise.
Almost never. All-keys-lost (AKL) is what we do. Through NASTF and our programming tools, we can generate and program a new key to virtually any vehicle on-site — including the late-model push-to-start cars dealers usually quote a week-long wait on.
A standard key add with a working spare is typically 20–40 minutes on site. All-keys-lost on a modern vehicle is usually 60–120 minutes depending on platform.
Usually significantly. Dealers mark up the key and fob, charge programming labor, and require you to tow the car in if all keys are lost. We come to you with the same manufacturer-level access and skip the tow and the markup.
Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), cash, or ACH for shops and dealers on net terms.
For many makes, yes — VIN-derived key codes through NASTF let us cut a working key with no original. For some makes (and certain late-model European), we generate the key during programming on the vehicle. Either way, give us the VIN and we'll confirm.
